This privacy policy describes how Medware Solutions Pty Ltd (ACN trading as Medware Advisory) collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information. We are committed to handling personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
We collect personal information that you provide directly to us, including when you request a diagnostic, enter into an engagement, or correspond with us by email. This typically includes:
We do not collect sensitive personal information. We do not seek patient or clinical data, and we ask that clients not share it.
We use personal information to:
We do not use personal information for marketing without your consent.

Some of our service providers operate overseas. Where personal information is transferred outside Australia, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Engagement materials, conversations and any information shared in the course of an engagement are treated as confidential. Mutual confidentiality undertakings are standard and form part of every engagement.
In May 2026 we are running the Pharma AI Survey, a short anonymised benchmark on how artificial intelligence is being used inside pharmaceutical and healthcare organisations. This section sets out how we handle data collected through the survey, and supplements the rest of this policy.
Lawful basis. We collect and process survey responses on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box and submitting the form. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at inquiries@medware.com.au. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before your withdrawal.
Information we collect. When you complete the survey we collect your name, work email, role and (optionally) the organisation you represent, your country, and your responses to the nine survey questions. We also store your browser user agent and the page that referred you to the survey, to help us understand traffic sources. We do not use cookies, fingerprinting, or third-party tracking on the survey page.
How we use survey information. We use it for two purposes only: to compile an anonymised, aggregated report of how pharmaceutical professionals are using AI, and to send that report to every respondent. We do not use survey information for sales or marketing follow-up unless you separately request it.
Where the data is stored. Survey responses are stored in a secure database operated by Supabase, Inc. in the Sydney (ap-southeast-2) region, under standard contractual terms. Access to the raw responses is restricted to Matt Martin in his capacity as director of Medware Solutions Pty Ltd. Row-level security is configured to prevent public reads.
Disclosure. We do not sell, share or otherwise disclose individual survey responses to any third party. The published report contains only aggregated, anonymised findings — no individual quotation, name or organisation will be attributed to you without your separate written consent.
Retention. Individual survey responses are retained for up to 24 months from the date of submission, after which they are either anonymised or deleted. The anonymised, aggregated report may be retained and published indefinitely.
Your rights. You may, at any time, request a copy of the personal information we hold about you in connection with the survey, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. For respondents in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the rights described in the GDPR and UK GDPR also apply, including the right to data portability and the right to object to processing. For respondents in California, the rights described in the CCPA/CPRA also apply. Requests should be made to inquiries@medware.com.au and will be actioned within a reasonable time and in any event within one month.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Information is stored on reputable cloud services with access controls and is retained only for as long as it is needed for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law.
You may request access to personal information we hold about you, or request that we correct it. To do so, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time. There is no charge for making a request, although in some cases we may charge a reasonable fee for retrieving or copying information.
This website uses minimal cookies and may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the site is used. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. The survey page itself does not use cookies or tracking pixels.
If you believe we have not handled your personal information in accordance with this policy or the Australian Privacy Principles, please contact us using the details below. We will investigate and respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. Respondents in the European Union, the United Kingdom or California may also contact their local data protection authority.
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published at this address with the date last updated.
